3. Model putting God first for your child!
Here are two great scripture you must model as well as pass on to your children.
• Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well
Teach your children to be Kingdom minded and seek a right relationship with God before any other things

• Exodus 20:1-3 And God spoke all these words; I am the Lord you God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. “You shall have no other Gods before me.”
Modeling keeping God first is the best way for your children to catch this.

Another great scripture we should live and model is Mark 12:29-30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength.” This is truly a full time job.

My favorite parenting scripture is Proverbs 28:2 “When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a man of understanding and knowledge maintains orders. Evaluate your priorities look for things that are out of order in your life then ask God to help you maintain God's order in your life. Once you are done with you now help your children do the same thing.
If you want your children to learn how to repent and make needed changes in their lives dare to be a model Godly repentance!
