This is where the description of the Leadership blog category goes.

Not everyone who starts something for God completes it. When I first started in ministry I thought about quitting every Monday. All of us have thought about doing something else, even people in the Bible. Look at Jeremiah 9:2, “Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people.” Maybe you've never wanted to work at a Holiday Inn in the desert like Jeremiah but we know how he felt.

Habakkuk 2: 2 tells us to …”Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” It’s not enough just to have a goal. You need to write it down and make it plain. The ticket to developing a plan and strategy to move from Visionland to reality is to know where you are right now.

Proverbs 29: 18, tells us, “Where there is no vision people perish.” Vision is the key to seeing your plans turn into reality. Not only do people perish without a vision, ministries don’t get off the ground without vision.

Infuse is the best thing I ever done to help others grow. Don't get me wrong I'm thankful for the thousands who have learned from my monthly audio resouce I call theClub but it's been amazing to watch the 20 people who are a part of my 1st infuse group grow tons both as individuals and as a group over these 11 months. It's truly been a God idea. It's been amazing!!!! Infuse 2 is off to a great start with one retreat behind them.

Good thing for us (or them) there was a huge Coke store we could shop in until time to get in line. When it came time to go to the entrance we walked outside and there was a huge line going no where. People saw the line and just got in it. After my experience in the Tulsa Airport I decided to walk to the front and see what was going on.

The most important thing we can be to the people and companies we serve is a problem solver. Problem Solvers are always in demand. I realized years ago I was more valuable to my pastor and the organization as a problem-solving leader to leaders than a teacher of kids. Today in all I do I find myself using this skill more than ever. So with that quest of becoming a master of solving problems in mind here are 10 steps to take to become a problem solver...

For years we've been told when we're at our busiest "You just need to delegate more." The truth is you can't just delegate without definition! You can't hand over what you are doing to someone else and say "tag you are it" then go do something else and think the person you've delegated to will represent you well.

The lowest form of leadership that I know is positional leadership. Just because you have been placed in charge of a ministry doesn’t make others automatically follow you. Just because you say your a car and sit in a garage it doesn't make you one. The same things true with becoming a leader. A title doesn’t cause those in leadership to hand over all the keys to the children’s ministry kingdom for you to do whatever you deem is best. If you want others to believe in you and trust your leadership you must win or earn their confidence.
