2. Identify team members who have stopped serving. Ministry is all about serving. Jesus had a lot to say about the importance of serving. You gain those you serve. Even leaders must also be servants. When any team member is not serving their teammates the team is headed for dysfunction. Let your teammates slam-dunk while you take an assist.
Getting the points is more important than who made them. I’m always looking for who rejoices in the abilities and accomplishments of those around them. Never complain, but seek opportunities to motivate others. When you constantly hear complaining it’s an indicator that the person doing the complaining has stopped serving the team. Negative people are not servants. Teams that serve each other are constantly
giving complements to others. Servants do their best even if they go unnoticed.
Dysfunctional teams are too busy to help others. Servants always make time to serve their team. Teams that don’t serve each other will never succeed or be promoted. Reverse this bad habit and watch function increase.
