Planing for growth is very important but equally as important is the third key to growth and that is expect growth. We should not be surprised when our plans come together and growth takes place. the word of God promises all who keep and observe God's word that blessed will be everything that they put their hand to. Jesus said himself in talking about his disciples that He has chosen and appointed his disciples to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last.(John 15:16) Jesus did not say I have chosen you and appointed you to fail.
He wants us to be effective and bear much fruit. He wants you to grow. Let's expect it. Let's not settle for anything but success. Make up your mind that you can see growth and that because the Lord wants you to grow that you just expect it in everything you do. There is nothing wrong with being small. The scripture tells us to not despise small beginnings. But if you have remained small for a long period of time that is not the bible way. If you sre faithful in small things God will make you a ruler over much. How often should we be experiencing growth? I believe daily. That's what happen in the book of Acts. The Lord added to the church daily. We can see it too! We must desire growth! We must make room for growth, and we must expect growth in every single area of life and ministry. GET READY, GET SET, GROW!!!

Re: Ready, Set, Grow-part 6

Jim, back in 1995 I heard you speak at CPC in San Diego (I think) and you spoke on this very subject. I still remember what you taught us. I have used this principle to help facilitate tremendous growth in my ministry and am now teaching those who work on my staff. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
