Being Near Family...such a blessing!

I love being near family again! For half of my ministry I was 12 hours away from my family. To just be 3 hours away I feel extreemly blessed! We started in ministry near Julie's family then moved near my family. When we moved on the other side of the Mississippi River it was neat how the Lord sent people into our lives who became like family. When we moved back South I wasn't sure that my kids would move too. They did, I'm so blessed! Now for all of us to be so close to our extended family it's a blessing I didn't see coming, but that's the kind of God we serve... "One who blesses us more than we could ever ask or think!"

Today I'm leaving for Mississippi and heading back to the place my ministry started. Will see our family and lots of dear friends then we'll head back to beautiful Middle Tennessee with very thankful hearts and full stomachs.(the best cooks in the world are in Mississippi!) We are blessed to have a few days of down time with family and friends. What and who are you thankful for?
