I have always loved football. When it came to college football I have always had 2 favorite teams, Alabama and whoever is playing Auburn! Growin up when there was just 3 TV channels on your TV. I watched whatever games came on. I grew up watching the Colts, Jets, Raiders and the Packers too, I liked them because of some of the famous players they had on their teams but somewhere in my teen age years I became a Saints fan. When I went to college in Mississippi the Saints came on every Sunday. Even though they didn't win i still loved them. Every year when it was time for Super Bowl I would always say... I'm a Saints Fan....Super Bowl means nothing to me!
That all changed yesterday. For the first time in my life Super Bowl mattered. I can't say this was a dream come true because I never even dreamed it was possible. The Super Saints got me thinking. What things in my life have I just excepted failure and not dared to dream big? The Bible says "all things are possible to them that believe!" the key is to believe. I've learned a lesson from Mr. Brees and company, the impossible is possible when you work hard and believe big. I'm searching my heart and life looking for dreams I've given up on, dreams I have forgotten about, and dreams I should be working toward and hanging on to.
Thanks Saints for teaching me "all things are possible!"

Re: I never thought I'd see this day come
I loved your lesson about this topic! I'm a big football fan too and I never thought we'd see the day the Saints won the Super Bowl. I know that God can do things in my life and ministry He's placed me in that are much more significant to the kingdom than the Saints' successes. We're engaged in the greatest battle in the world. The battle for the hearts and minds of kids and for the hearts and minds of their parents who in many cases are spiritual "kids" themselves. I want to be a part of raising a new crop of parents who will live Deuteronomy 6 personally and then lead their families to do the same. It seems impossible, but I have a dream of what the world could look like if people stopped worrying about having everything they want like a spoiled kid at Christmas. I know God has big plans for the people I walk and drive past everyday. My prayer is He will always find me ready to go to work for Him and that He will continue to amaze this world by doing the impossible.

Not sure why it posted twice. I loved the lesson and the blog post, but not enough to say the same thing twice!
