I miss flying. I've been on 2 planes this year this time 2 years ago I was taking as many as 10 flights in a week. Here's what I liked about flying so much...
1. I met some wonderful people. (I love people. My father-in-law always told me "I'm not in the electrical business. I'm in the people business." I think we all should be in the people business!
2. I got a lot of reading and work done. There's something wonderful about being in a place on a regular basis where the phone can't ring. I miss that sometimes.
3. You are presented with wonderful opportunities to live what you say you believe. Flying gave me a place to practice understanding, kindness, mercy, and forgiveness. I was presented on every flight chances to show the love of Jesus and let my light shine. It's giving me a place to be salt and light to a plane full of people who are a captive audience.
So with this in mind, what situation(s) has God given you to practice what you preach? Where has He called you to make a difference? Better yet are you making a difference where He's placed you? You're the only one who can take advantage of the opportunities He has given you. The truth is I don't have to be on a plane to do this. Why not try this in a city near you! I'm going to! Watchout M'boro!
