Not everyone who starts something for God completes it. When I first started in ministry I thought about quitting every Monday. All of us have thought about doing something else, even people in the Bible. Look at Jeremiah 9:2, “Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people.” Maybe you've never wanted to work at a Holiday Inn in the desert like Jeremiah but we know how he felt.
It's your job to keep yourself stirred up. Fan your flame. Encourage yourself in the Lord, always.
Here's 10 ways to finish strong:

1. Never loose sight of who called you

2. Learn how to encourage yourself! It’s not your Pastor’s or Director’s job to keep you refreshed.

3. Stay Focused
Proverbs. 28:2 When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a man of
understanding and knowledge maintains order.

4. Guard your heart! (Attitude)
Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”

5. Make changes & improve you constantly

6. Turn lemons into lemonade (be a problem solver!)

7. Do something new & different. (Doing new things keep you fresh.)

8. Never forget God is your source! (Don’t work in your own strength!)

9. Set a goal & don’t stop until you hit it. Then set another goal

10. See yourself as a finisher! (Have a vision of the finish line!)
